Welcome! I'm Nimi, an award-winning and leading maternity photographer in Minneapolis. My studio is located in Eden Prairie, MN. As a mother, I know how important documenting this special time is, not only because your pregnancy lasts a short time but also because, as the support structure of your family, you are often thinking about everyone else before yourself. This session is for you to have your moment. A chance to be pampered, to feel beautiful, to feel special.
To assure that you will have an amazing experience, we schedule an in-person or phone pre-session consultation where we will gather all the details for your session including wardrobe, styling, and personal items in order to plan your session. Nimz Photography also offers a selection of gowns and outfits for you to wear during your session.

*Please note: all bookings require a $500 non-refundable deposit, in order to book your session. This payment is the DEPOSIT ONLY that secures your date and time, the remaining amount must be paid before the day of the session. The deposit goes towards the cost of the session.

*Privacy/copyright for your photographs can be purchased.
If you wish to prevent the photographer from using any of your images online, we have the option of purchasing privacy at an additional cost of 30% on the total cost. We highly respect your decisions on the usage of images and formalized this process to prevent any usage of your family images on our well-administered social media platforms and our website.
Intention: Images used by us online, are mainly to help market and showcase variety by displaying the capability and potential of our photography services.
After the session clients will be presented with images from the session during a personal ordering appointment to make the selection and purchase the art products
FAQ
When should I book my maternity session?
A.It’s never too early to schedule your photoshoot. Sometimes we can accommodate last minute requests, but we recommend a 6-8 week notice. If you would like a weekend appointment it is important to book early as Saturdays are booked fast.
At what point in pregnancy is the best to schedule my maternity session to take place?
A.28-32 weeks is the recommendation
What should I wear for my maternity session?
A.We have got you covered. At our all-in-one photo studio, we've got a fabulous wardrobe collection for your maternity and precious motherhood shoots. Indulge in luxurious Italian silk and gorgeous maternity gowns, handpicked to make you look and feel fabulous. Best of all, you won't have to lift a finger – we've taken care of everything for you.

Can my spouse or child be in the pictures?
A.Absolutely! The father of your child is welcome and encouraged to join. If you are bringing your child or children, please bring someone to help keep them occupied.
How do I prepare for the session?
A.Try not to wear tight underwear and clothing on the day of the session to prevent marks on your skin. Get a manicure and a pedicure a day or two in advance.
Do I have to be nude/ partially nude for the Maternity session?
A.Not at all. All of our maternity sessions are customized and tailored to the wants and needs of each client. Some clients prefer clean and simple artistic nude photographs and wraps, while others prefer to be fully clothed.
Should I be concerned about extra weight (chin, arms, thighs) and stretch marks?
A.We want you to feel beautiful and relaxed during your photography experience as well as to treasure your final images. Complete professional retouching is included in your session and you don’t have to worry about any imperfections such as blemishes, stretch marks and certain body contours. We specialize in the most comprehensive and detailed editing and will enhance and transform the image into a stunning work of art.
What is the turn around time?
A.You will be sent a private online gallery to choose your favorite images for retouching about 1 to 2 week after your shoot. it typically takes 3 weeks for the final images to be ready.
